TWO ITEMS CLOSE TO HOME

TWO ITEMS CLOSE TO HOME
bpSome of you may have heard of my recent hospital stay with a seriously infected index finger, right hand. I am now out, but taking antibiotics at home for this and the next week. Things are improving tremendously. Recently, my ‘dancer lady’ put my situation on her Facebook page. I am still cloaked in the very many Best Wishes, and Prayers, and Vibes from so many people. Absorbing them awakens my spirit, makes me feel good, and I am convinced, is making me heal. I have a personal thing that if everyone said ‘good day’ to each other, it WILL be a good day. Thanks All!

The saga of the Amazing Grace ‘dancer lady’, Rachel Oneika, continues….. I received the message below recently: “my Amazing Cast has decided …… On August 17, tol spend the night at Covenant House – a shelter for homeless kids in New York City. Actually we will spend the night outside of the shelter …in what is being called a Broadway Sleep Out. My cast mates and I, along with many of our fellow Broadway performing friends, will sleep on the street for one night so a homeless boy or girl won’t have to. Kids – ages 16 to 22, some with babies and toddlers – come to Covenant House in terrible shape. These kids are alone, with an overwhelming sense of loneliness and isolation.” The objective is to raise funds to assist Covenant House.
So Please visit my fundraising page, click the “Support My Sleep Out” button, and give as generously as you can. And know you have all of my thanks!
And mine too. Give whatever you can…it all adds up.
